शिक्षण क्षेत्र

SEE609: Mathematical and Computational Methods in Engineering

The objective of this course is to equip students with the mathematical concepts and computational tools required for solving common engineering problems and for analyzing engineering data, especially those related to energy systems. The course will cover the theoretical basics of numerical methods, basics of programming, computational packages, and simulation tools. The students will also learn actual implementations through solving different physics-based problems using programming or software packages.

SEE606: Electrochemical Energy Systems

This course is designed to give students an overview of different electrochemical energy systems such as fuel cells, batteries, supercapacitors and electrolyzers. The course will cover the fundamentals of electrochemistry, working principles of different electrochemical systems, materials, manufacturing, and usage.

SEE607: Hydrogen Energy - Production, Storage and Utilization

The objective of this course is to make students familiar with the green hydrogen ecosystem and the fundamentals and technologies encompassed in it. The course will cover an overview of the green-hydrogen ecosystem, its role in future energy, hydrogen generation, storage, and utilization. The course will cover the fundamentals as well as the design aspects of different technologies involved in the hydrogen ecosystem.
