Job description of the Administration Section

  • Holding of periodical meetings of staff to ensure proper implementation of tasks entrusted to the section and in accordance with the provisions of the Act & Statute, Rules and regulations, decision of authorities, Government orders.
  • Planning and scheduling of the entire work of the Section well in advance and periodical reviews of its execution.
  • Exercise constant vigilance which is sine-qua-non of speedy and qualitative disposal of work, safety of the record, regular and orderly behaviour of the staff.
  • Notes drafting and dealing with cases which are routine in nature, draft notes essentially with reference to relevant Acts & Statutes, regulations, precedence and implications etc. on special cases and submit to higher officers, and given interim replies.
  • Attending meetings, issue of notices for meetings, prepare agenda, prepare draft minutes of the meetings and take follow-up actions.
  • Preparation of Agenda & Minutes various Committees including Board Sub Committee (Grievance) meetings.
    Financial up-gradation/ Assessment and Pay fixation related activities under MACP Scheme of non-academic employees.
  • Preparation of Retirement Orders and its related activities.
  • Works related with police verification, performance report etc. of newly joined employees.
  • Works related to Past Service and calculation of pro-rata pensioners liabilities of ex-employees. Assisting Director, Deputy Director and Actg. Registrar as and when required.
  • Maintenance of non-academic employees service books and related activities such as permission of higher studies, Incentive for higher studies, fixed medical allowance, Changing of Home Town, issuance of NOC for interview/passport, issuance of NOC for interview/passport, forwarding of outside employment applications , leave records , children education allowance, LTC related activities.
  • Issuance of office orders & Memorandums.
